Jade Saguaro Long Sleeve Tee
We're on a road to nowhere...
The Road to Nowhere collection, inspired heavily by the Talking Heads song of the same name, was born from my love of the desert. It's giving soft desert tones, golden healer quartz, vintage Turkish rugs, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, terracotta pots, and polychrome jasper. I think it might be the most “me” of any collection I’ve ever curated.
The energy of this collection is the same energy I feel whenever I visit the desert: peaceful, present, and cosmically aligned. It feels like an aesthetic and spiritual homage to my Mesopotamian/Anatolian roots while also honoring my retro California style.
This heavyweight all gender tee features a handrawn saguaro cactus (an homage to the massive saguaro, Emilio, at our Tucson Gem Show house) and a line from one of my favorite songs, Road to Nowhere. It's in a lovely shade of green jade that I simply cannot stop wearing :)
6.5 ounce garment dyed jade cotton
All gender fit, true to size (I prefer a medium for an oversized look—my true size is small or XS)
High neck and drop sleeves
(this is the same beloved garment as the "don't worry," "reefer," and "stranger" tees, but in a long sleeve)
Made ethically in Los Angeles by folks earning fair wages + benefits
Screenprinted by a family owned printer in Newbury Park, CA
Alchemized and illustrated by Neghar Fonooni
To preserve the lifespan of your tee, it is highly recommended that you wash inside out, cold, with like colors and dry with low or no heat.
