An original poem by me, typed on my vintage 1958 Olympia SM4 typewriter, framed in an ornate silver thrifted frame. The matting is from album artwork inside the Fleetwood Mac Rumours album. The poem reads:
Another Gentle Reminder
What if every time instead of going fast you went slow and every time instead of being somewhere else you were here right now and what if you laid on your back in the grass staring at clouds and gazing at stars and feeling peace without conditions and it was everything you’ve ever wanted right there in your breath, right there in your bones?
What if instead of adhering to the past or attaching to the future you found yourself fully unstuck and let it all come let it all go let it all be just exactly as it is without clinging to it or pushing it away and in that moment which is really this moment you finally understood what it meant to surrender?
What if you unclenched your jaw and opened your hands and dropped your shoulders down and back just long enough to notice the quality of presence and the absurdity of existence, unparalleled and without limit, formless and boundless no strings attached?
What if you did that and what if it set you free?

Please note that because these frames are thrifted and the typewriter in vintage, there will be imperfections. This is part of the charm!
