An original poem by me, typed on my vintage 1958 Olympia SM4 typewriter, framed in a thrifted wood frame. The matting is from artwork inside the Mazzy Star album, So Tonight that I Might See.
The poem reads:
A Blessing
Joy can find you anywhere. Even here. Even now.
Even in your grief and your rage and your sorrow— joy can find you.
Make space for it. Receive it when it comes. Trust the pace of joy— let it move freely.
