Three Whiskeys Deep is an artistic journey into the void, scribbled frantically into notebooks and typed on a 1958 Olympia SM4.

There are things only the night can tell you-cosmic whispers that can only be heard when the sun has given leave. There are wounds that must be healed beneath a full moon, parts of you that can only be discovered under a canopy of stars.

The poems and illustrations in this book were channeled from the Universe, during a time when the author wrestled with the question: Will I always be alone? Is there more to this than flesh and bone?

This revamped collection of 55 poems and 55 illustrations contains 8 never before published poems and 55 brand new illustrations, designed to emulate oracle cards. Each illustrated “card” was channeled through the energy of its host poem and includes a line from the poem itself. It also features a new cover, new typeface, and entirely new layout.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Neghar Fonooni is a word witch, Tarot reader, amateur anarchist, and sentimental stargazer, born and raised in the City of Angels, on Tongva land. She lives in LA but swears she won't die there.

Also the author of This is Just What it's Like Sometimes, and In the Fullness of Time, Neghar believes that all art is channeled through the cosmos, messages from the stars that find their way across galaxies, onto our canvases, into the ink of our pens. 

When she's not writing, Neghar is perpetually reminding her teenage son to do his chores, lifting weights, talking to her plants, and dreaming of a house on a farm, under a canopy of stars.
