Framed Poem #3
Framed Poem #3

An original poem by me, typed on my vintage 1958 Olympia SM4 typewriter, framed in a thrifted green and gold frame. The matting is from a album artwork inside a Hermanos Gutierrez album. The poem reads:
A Gentle Reminder
What if every time instead of being rough you were gentle and every time instead of being cold you were warm and what if you held yourself in your own arms and that was enough or let yourself be held in the womb of some other and that was everything you never knew you needed?
What if instead of becoming unraveled you remained tethered to something however small and when you felt yourself floating away you remembered that you are here and you are real and you are loved even when it feels like no one cares and none of it matters at all?
What if you believed that even when life is sticky and hard it can be soft and groovy too and you held on to that so you would keep going in spite of everything?
What if you did that and what if it took you home?
Frame measures 9.5x11 inches, artwork is roughly 8x10. Shipping is based on total weight.
Please note that because these frames are thrifted and the typewriter in vintage, there will be imperfections. This is part of the charm!
